Anne: I’ve enjoyed your postings for a couple of years now. Remarkably useful, including introducing me to Karen Bonnano, who we’ve linked with here in Washington State through our WLMA conference webinar series.
I want to share with you, and hopefully with READINGPOWER audience a succinct 5 minute video “Teacher Librarians at the Heart of Student Learning.” Linked at our wlma.org home page, it illustrates what we consider the essential role of Teacher Librarians in modern School and Library Information Technology Programs…laid out as a LIT program framework, also linked on that page.
The video, kindly blogged by Joyce Valenza last week in School Library Journal http://blogs.slj.com/neverendingsearch/2013/01/12/wmla-the-library-should-be-the-heart-of-the-school/
Designed to be shared by folks in and out of the library world, I hope to get your comments on how it might be received Down Under.
Craig Seasholes Past President WLMA and READINGPOWER fan!
